Delivery

Last reviewed: 27 October 2026

Desktop PCs are fragile, high-value machines. We therefore dispatch only with end-to-end tracking, a delivery signature, and transit protection confirmed for the machine's declared value and packaging. The courier shown at checkout or dispatch may vary because eligibility depends on the final destination, parcel dimensions, and current carrier terms. Standard tracked postage and delivery insurance are included in the displayed product price, with no separate checkout charge. Any optional Fast Track fee is shown before payment.

The three PC ranges above are separate from the delivery options below. Your accepted order records the applicable price and delivery arrangement. A supplier arrival estimate is an input to a build estimate, not a guarantee of arrival at your address.

Fast Track, Standard and Flex

  • Fast Track: priority sourcing and building for made-to-order PCs, or an eligible faster dispatch/delivery service for a pre-built. A premium may apply. Parts, workshop capacity, destination and the delivery route must support the option. The total price and estimate are shown before payment.
  • Standard: approved sourcing and our normal build/delivery timetable, balancing speed and value. Standard tracked UK delivery and transit protection arranged by us are included in the displayed total.
  • Flex (Flexible): more sourcing time for a made-to-order PC, with no promised delivery date. Approved marketplace or auction opportunities may be considered where the agreed policy permits. A saving is shown only when the current quote is lower than Standard for the same selected specification. Waiting does not guarantee a discount. Flex is not normally a separate option for an already-built machine.

Fast Track and optional paid upgrades must be actively chosen. Where commercial mode pricing is unavailable, checkout may offer configured delivery options without a Flex discount. We do not promise a universal 3-, 5- or 10-day timetable.

Timing, sourcing windows and condition

Use the current estimate for your actual machine and chosen option. Working days exclude weekends and relevant UK bank holidays. Selected Ready-to-Ship PCs may qualify for next-working-day delivery, subject to the stated UK cutoff, payment checks, destination and carrier availability. Dispatch means leaving us; delivery means reaching you. Dates and ranges are estimates unless we expressly agree otherwise.

Flexible pace has no promised delivery date. We keep you updated as sourcing progresses. Contact us to discuss progress, an approved alternative or cancellation/refund as applicable. We will not silently downgrade the specification. Ask support or check My FlipFlop for your latest order-specific information.

Flex never gives permission to use refurbished or used parts. New-only remains binding unless you expressly choose an offered non-new sourcing policy. Condition and any warranty implications must be disclosed before agreement. Material changes to specification, condition, price or scope require approval.

Destinations and responsibility

Checkout confirms whether your UK address can be served. Remote locations, islands, Northern Ireland and other restricted destinations can need a different service or estimate; we do not promise every route or add an undisclosed surcharge. When we arrange the carrier, risk remains with FlipFlop until you or your nominated recipient physically receives the goods.

Packaging and handover

We record component serial numbers and photograph the tested machine, internal packing, sealed carton, and shipping label before collection. Please inspect the carton when it arrives. If it looks crushed, pierced, wet, or opened, photograph it before opening and tell the driver that you are accepting it as damaged. Keep every piece of packaging while we investigate.

Photographs and retained packaging help an investigation. Missing photographs or original packaging do not automatically remove statutory rights.

If your PC arrives damaged

Contact FlipFlop immediately with photographs of the outer carton, seals, internal packing, and machine. Do not discard packaging or attempt a repair before we respond. We will manage the carrier or insurer claim; your statutory rights remain with FlipFlop and are not limited to whatever compensation a carrier offers us.

Missed or delayed delivery

Tell us promptly if tracking is delayed, marks the parcel delivered when it is missing, or the courier cannot complete delivery. FlipFlop remains your contact for delivery problems when we arranged the carrier. Unless another period was agreed, delivery must take place without undue delay and within 30 days. If we miss an agreed essential deadline, refuse delivery, or fail to deliver within an applicable additional period, you may be entitled to end the contract and receive a refund.

Upgrade My PC services

Upgrading a machine you already own is a separate service from the three complete-PC ranges. We confirm assessment, shipping, work, parts, price and estimated turnaround before agreement. Material changes after inspection require approval. See Terms of sale for service cancellation and any request to start work during a cancellation period.
